Early Childhood Program (Playgroup – Grade 1)

Please submit a completed application, copy of your child’s birth certificate, and non-refundable application fee by December 15, 2016.
$150 for playgroup
$350 Nursery through 1st grade
***Sibling Discount  $300.00 for parents of current MDY students***

If your child is currently in an early childhood program:

- Fill out the Records Release Form and submit it to the current school.
- Submit the Early Childhood Program Recommendation form to your child’s current teacher and have it sent back directly to Magen David Yeshivah.

If your child has had any educational and/or psychological evaluations please submit them to the Admissions Office.

We will contact you to arrange a visit for your Nursery or Pre-K applicant. Applicants for Kindergarten will be given an assessment by a member of our faculty. Please call the Admissions Office to schedule this assessment.

Elementary School (Grades 2-8)

Please submit a completed application, copy of your child’s birth certificate, and non-refundable application fee of $350.00 by December 15, 2016

- Fill out the Records Release Form and submit it to the current school, asking them to send us report cards/evaluations for the past two year, a current semester report card, results of standardized testing, IEP’s and/or Educational Evaluations, and Psychological Evaluation (if applicable)
- Submit the Judaic and General Studies Recommendation Forms to your child’s current school and have them sent back directly to Magen David Yeshivah.

If your child has had any educational and/or psychological evaluations please submit them to the Admissions Office.

Applicants will be interviewed by members of our administration or faculty. Please call the Admissions Office to schedule this interview.

Admission Decisions
Upon receipt of all admissions materials and an interview/assessment, we will review the application file. Applicants with completed applications by  the deadline of December 15, 2016 will receive a decision letter by January 6, 2017.
